| Our
company was founded on the philosophy that bigger isn't better. E.D.S.
founder Roy Gignac spent many years working with firms that provided transformers
to large-volume customers. He found the needs of customers who required small
and medium quantities of power supplies were not effectively being served. E.D.S. was created in July 1976 to serve the small volume users. Although our company has evolved through the years to serve international markets, the smaller user remains the focus of our business. |

| Our low volume concept has resulted in E.D.S. becoming a recognized leader in battery chargers and power supplies of less than 40 VA. Serving primarily the medical and industrial equipment industries, E.D.S. manufactures parts that meet both domestic and international standards. While trends continue to take many electronics manufacturing jobs outside the United States, E.D.S. manufactures all orders here in Danville, Virginia. This allows us to maintain our short 4 week lead time and offer a consistent approach to quality and performance. | |
